Key Accomplishments

  ü Lead team of engineers to successfully to handle multiple releases through QA.

  ü Spearheaded test effort for RAN and Small Cell Product lines for tier 1 operators like Sprint,

Verizon and KDDI.

Worked at Airvana Chelmsford as SQA Lead for QA activities for multiple releases of 3G CDMA Macro

Network Products (BTS, RNC, EMS along with PDSN, OpenIMS Server, QChat Server, Audiocode

Media Gateway and other network elements)

  Ø EVDO Rev-A with Best Effort QoS.

  ü This Feature allowed providing QoS for Inter User Best Effort flows due to which tiered service

like Gold, Silver and Bronze users can be provided.

Projects Worked On:

  ü Wrote test plan for End to End Call Flows which involved AAA server authenticating and

authorizing user for subscribed service. Policy server with help of Packet Gateway ensured the

enforcement of the data.

  Ø EVDO Rev-A with Application Level QoS which enabled VoIP and QChat Services on EVDO

  ü This feature enabled QoS at air interface level. Each Application/Traffic type can be provided

required level of QoS. This allowed operator to provide Application Level QoS in EVDO

network for VoIP and QChat(Push to Talk)

  ü Wrote Test Plans for QChat and VoIP over EVDO

  ü Executed VoIP test cases using OpenIMS and Audiocode Media Gateways. Key Test Areas

included QoS reservation using App Sig Profile Id 1280 and Audio Bearer Profile Id 256, E2E

MO and MT Calls for various permutations of Dormant/Idle AT with and without DoS on

ACH/CCH, VoIP performance measurements for Signaling and bearer latency, Impact of Apriori/Predictive

QoS reservation on VoIP performance etc.

  ü Executed QChat test cases for QChat. Key Test Areas included QoS reservation using QChat

Call setup Sig Profile Id 16400, In Call Sig Profile Id 1283 and Media Profile Id 280, Various

permutations of RLDoS/FLDoS/TCH on originating and target QChat AT, QChat performance

measurements for Initial Latency, Incall Latency and Alert Latency, Group QChat Call etc.

  Ø EVDO Rev-A Release which supported higher throughput in Uplink and Downlink, Multiple A-10

Support, QoS Support.
